Digging Out Old Pole Barn Poles

Nate was able to fix the tractor and John started digging out the old poles. I tried to find a contractor that would build the barn with the poles the Coulters put up, but they all said if we wanted it to be a residential building it wouldn’t work with the old poles. So we had to dig them up.

Digging out the poles went faster than expected. John was able to pull them all out within a few days. In the below picture you can also see the new chicken fenced in yard that Nate built. The chickens and rabbits were getting a little crowded in their coop as they got bigger. Nate and Siara put the ducks in the fenced in area too. Yay! No more duck poop all over the patio. But it must be miserable for them in the dry area with no greenery and not being able to wander freely anymore. They were even crossing the street and going to the neighbor’s houses.
