Zoo in February

We finally had a warm day where it got in the higher 50’s so I took the kids to the zoo. A lot of the animals still weren’t out and all the concession stands and shows were closed. The tickets were part of the visit Salt Lake pass so they didn’t cost anything more.

A lot of the animals were pacing back and forth, over and over again in the same spots. Some think it’s a way to cope with the stress of captivity. I would go nuts too not being able to go anywhere else but the cage. The leopard, tiger, polar bear, and the sea lion were all pacing.
