Tree House Museum
The Tree House Museum is mostly about books. They have lots of different areas to explore and they have books that go along with each area. Like there was a doctor area, a wooded area with animals, a fire station area, houses from different countries that you could go in, etc. Each station had books about that subject.
There is a giant tree house in the center of the museum. It has different levels. There is a parachute area on it where you can drop parachutes and then pull them back up.
Love this giant reading chair. A recording reads you a book while you sit in it.
Old fashioned school room with costumes you could dress in to look like students or the teacher.
Cowboy area with vests and hats.
Locke winning the horse race.
Link on a bucking bull
Cowboy Link
Farm area where you could milk a cow, collect eggs and play with animal hand puppets.
Remi and Link for president! This area was about government and history.
The medieval area with castles.
Locke, trying to look like a king. Link is his knight pretending to hold a sword.
I taught Locke a little bit about how to play chess on this giant board, then the boys put together this tomb knight puzzle
Remi building a crest. The pieces were magnetic. Next to her is a calligraphy station
This was Links favorite place, Racing cars. Remi is at the station where you build a car to race.
Ball tubes
This was Remi’s favorite station. She loved catching the parachutes or just holding them in the tube.
Remi building a building and then testing to see if it is earthquake proof.
Supergirl! This was a hero station. They had several hero costumes and games and books.
Military Pilot Hero.
The last thing we did was the play. Locke volunteered again. This play was a version of Snow White. Locke was the handsome prince. He did great. He got picked because for tryouts he did a prince pose of sticking out his chest and hands on his hips and a fierce look on his face. He is so good at acting. He was one of the only ones the audience could hear and he acted out the part perfectly. I just wish he had more lines. This story was mostly about the girls. The mirror idea was cute.
