Family Christmas Visit
John, Kaity, and John R. came for two weeks at Christmas. Yay!
One of the first things they did was to meet the new baby goats. Nate brought the into the house and they all got to snuggle a goat.
John’s goat was licking him. Ahhh…
While playing with the goats, Jon and Sandy came over with their kids. They were in town visiting her family. They brought some gifts. Locke got an Airzooka that shot out air at people. Link got a car launch track (of course), Nate or Siara got a box of nice dice, and….. The boys had fun playing with their cousins.
We had a family Sunday dinner in the evening of ham and funeral potato, green beans, etc.
John, Kaity, John R. stayed in Nate and Siara’s basement. I had fixed it up with a used couch and loveseat for 50 dollars, and a used coffee table and end table from DI. Then I put the motorhome DVD player in there and got a projector on Black Friday for cheap (the boys had a ball watching movies down there.), and Nathan gave me a sound bar so they could hear it. I put up a curtain and decorated a bit. I also cleaned everything and stocked the fridge and cupboards with breakfast foods. Everything looked amazing and very comfortable. We put the bean bag down there too to make room for the tree upstairs. John R. slept on the bean bag while they were here.
It snowed one day while everyone was here but it didn’t last long enough to go sledding. But they did make a snowman.
