Twinkle Drive

The motorsports park was doing a Christmas lights drive through this year. It was the very first one and they hoped it would get bigger every year. They had cars and motorcycles decorated with lights in the long row of garages, and then they had a row of inflatables. There were also some trailers that had been decorated by various sponsors. The kids really liked it and wanted to do it again. It was very foggy that night so I had a hard time knowing where we were supposed to go, even with a map. But it was fun. At the end, we went into the old restaurant for more fun.

Locke didn’t think he needed a coat. Brrr.

They had Christmas vendor booths in the old restaurant, and Santa. The boys were reluctant though to go see Santa, probably because they were the only kids there. After I told Locke he could go tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, he went right up. He was convinced it was the real Santa. He told Santa he wanted an axe for Christmas. We all thought that was funny. We got a couple of Christmas slimes for a dollar at the booths and then got some hot chocolate at a bakery booth.
