Lagoon

The GetOutPasses were good for Lagoon too. The first ride we went on was the haunted castle. Locke and Link wanted to go on a haunted castle ride like the one in their train game, but they both ducked their heads down and wouldn’t look. It wasn’t even scary because it was such an old ride, with just a few mechanized statues.

After that ride, Link wouldn’t try any other rides until we went to the kids area. We had to go in with him and help him get on the rides too or he would freak out a little. Eventually he started going on the rides with Locke.

This was the first ride we came to in the kids area. We didn’t know then that we could go in and help Link get into the ride, so he got really upset and wouldn’t go on it.
Link really liked the transportation rides like planes and cars.
Eventually Link started smiling on rides.
Link really liked the transportation rides like planes and cars.
Both boys were turning their steering wheels around corners even though the car was on a track.
Link could control the plane going up and down. He liked that.
On this rocket ship ride they each had a laser gun that made zapping noises when they pressed the trigger.
I was a little surprised that they let John ride this swing, but it did help Link try it. John had to squeeze into the child seat. They were the only two on the ride. When Locke rode it before them the the ride was full.
Link wouldn’t go on this boat ride at first until grandpa convinced him that he needed Link’s help. Grandpa even got Link to wave at me during the ride.
The boys went on this junior dragon roller coaster. Link didn’t like it but Locke did and he went on it three times. They were both so proud that they went on a roller coaster. Locke probably would have tried one of the bigger ones too, but we all stayed together.
Link was captivated by this ride. He watched it over and over and we had a hard time getting him to leave. His favorite part was watching the people go under the waterfall and scream and jump around. People actually stood up.
This huge stuffed bear looks real.
The kids loved the carousel! They rode it three times and would have gone more if I would have let them. They would get off and get right back on again because the lines were short.
The kids also liked the bumper cars and rode it three times too. Link was just enjoying driving his car, so he kept to the outside and didn’t bump anyone. But he did laugh when Locke bumped him.
The train ride was a favorite of the kids and we went on it a couple of times.
The train went through a tunnel and by the lake.
Then the train went by some zoo animals. We saw some big cats like lions, white tigers, camels, buffalo, kangaroos and several others.

The kids were exhausted but didn’t want to leave. They had so much fun at Lagoon.
