Childhood: Swinging Tree to Tree

This one is of when your uncle Lewis and I had a swing tied to a dogwood tree, and we would swing over to the lower dogwood tree, tree to tree, and we had such fun. The ravine was very steep. One time I missed the swing that Lewis sent to me, and it hit me near the left eye. I had a black eye for a week
It was hard to explain at school. Down below you see the barn that Dad turned into a house, and the outhouse by it, and the pathway that went up the hill that Dad ran a pipe down the hill to the house so we could have running water.
