Locke’s Baptism

Siara took these beautiful photos and made this invitation. Locke got a couple of new suits for his baptism. He looks so grown up and handsome.

Lock had picked out the people for his baptism program.

Siara did the music on the piano, Catherine Debruski (his teacher) was the chorister, Siara said the opening prayer, Grandpa Martin gave a talk on baptism, Nate baptized Locke with Grandpa Whitman and Great Grandma Florer as witnesses. (We all thought his knee had come up but Grandpa Whitman said his head was under before his knee came up.)

After Locke got changed I gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and then all the grandpas and great grandpas stood in the circle and Locke received the gift of the Holy Ghost from his dad. Grandma Martin gave the closing prayer

After Locke’s baptism we had a luncheon at the house. I made some croissant chicken salad sandwiches and brought a cheesecake. Siara made a delicious fruit salad. Nathan and Josie came to celebrate with us too.
