Cardboard for Garden

Siara bought a bunch of cardboard boxes to use as weed barriers around the property. The kids had a ball with the boxes making a multi room fort. They decorated the inside with markers and blankets and pillow.

John and Ali’s New Property

John and Ali closed on their property this week and set up a campsite there.

Selling the Car

I finished getting the car ready to sell, and John cleaned out the jeep to get it ready to sell. It took several hours for me to detail the car. It sold within a week. Dealers wanted it because they had no stock due to difficulty in getting chips to manufacture cars. After the dealer checked it out and made sure everything worked and no damage (they did see the damage to the bumper somebody caused when they backed into me but I figured that could be buffed out) five dealers were bidding for it. I wanted 28,000. They started their bids low, but I had another appointment with a dealer that wanted it too, so they raised their price. I got 27,500. but I probably could have got a little more. That gave us about 10,000 more to put towards the house after the car loan was paid off. We paid 32,000 for it a few years ago.
