Siara and Nate Camping & Highland Games

Camping

Siara needed some stress relief so she and Nate went camping at a place in southwest Utah. The kids stayed at their grandparents in Las Vegas and played with cousins.

Siara and Nate got to their campsite when it was dark so they didn’t realize their tent was in a ditch. It rained the whole night and their stuff was wet the next morning, so they moved their tent. It was rainy and cold the whole trip, but they had a great time. Their tent and campsite was well covered and they cooked good food under the canopy.

Highland Games

Nate participated in the last Highland game of the season at St. George. He got second place in his division and won a real metal twirling mace(?). Siara and the kids went with Nate to the games. The kids played at the park or went with their mom to see the Scottish booths. Siara bought a large wooden spoon. The kids got their faces painted, and Remi got to sit with the Queen of Scotts. I think the green Dino is the Loch Ness monster? Nate found out that the Martins were from the Clan Cameron.
