Southern Utah Trip 2020: Cedar Breaks

John came for a visit at a time when things were starting to open up again from COVID 19. The weather also suddenly cooled down in Southern Utah, so we decided to do a road trip.

Cedar Breaks National Monument

First we went to an area in Dixie Forest that Nate and Siara had told us about. As we were driving up the mountain, we passed a ski resort, and then we were surprised when we looked over into a canyon and saw huge, red cliffs that looked carved out because it didn’t fit the mountain scenery. We found out that it was Cedar Breaks National Monument. We stopped at a couple of overlooks on the way to our campground.
