Christmas Eve Party

On Christmas Eve we had a family party. We had finger foods: shrimp, a fruit tray, cheese and crackers, a veggie tray, the best hot chocolate ever, and a tray full of goodies. Grandma let us use her beautiful dishes and table clothes for the party.

After eating, we opened up the Christmas Eve boxes. I had gotten matching pajamas for everyone so we could get fun family photos together. I also put a bag of popcorn and movie theater candy in each box. Plus the kids got Christmas movies.

Here is Remi opening her present, with a little help from grandpa.

My four, beautiful grandchildren all together in their Christmas pajamas! Love it!

While the kids watched their Christmas movies, the adults raced to put on their Christmas Jammies, and we did a candy trading game too.

Here are my two (beautiful?) children. Haha. They are wearing their Christmas jammies, ready to play the new game: Throw the burrito.

The object of the game was to get matching cards, and if you got three cards that said brawl then the people next to you had to throw the burrito at each other. The person that gets hit loses a point. We had a hard time with this concept at first as you can see in this is hilarious video.

If you get three cards that say duel, you get to pick two people to have a duel. Those were hilarious too because you could run and hide and use things to block getting hit with the burrito.

This picture is of Siara after she hid behind the rug so she could get Kaity. It was so funny!

It was such a wonderful and fun family Christmas Eve together!

After everyone had left and the kids were in bed, Santa came. He left footprints, and he ate all his cookies, gave the carrots to the reindeer, and drank the milk that the kids left for him. He left a bunch of stuff on the couches for the kids like Pikachu jammies for Locke, Monster Truck jammies for Link, reindeer jammies for Siara, some remote control cars, some costumes for the boys, a unicorn and other stuffed animals for Remi, and stockings full of candy, etc.
