Kangaroo Zoo & Funtopia Climbing
Locke didn’t have school on Friday, so I took the two boys for a fun day out while mama worked. We went to Pleasant Grove because there was a car I wanted to check out. Right by there was another Kangaroo Zoo which really did have a zoo full of inflatables. Their ball cannons worked too. Locke and Link had a lot of fun. They also played some video games. Locke was so generous sharing his game card with a friend he had made.
Funtopia Climbing
We also had Get-Out-Passes for Funtopia Climbing. It was amazing!!
Link wouldn’t try it at first. He just wanted to watch. While he watched, he stacked these foam blocks. He loves stacking stuff.
Eventually Link wanted to try it. Both Locke and Link were very cautious while climbing, but once they realized they could let go and the harness would gently lower them to the ground, the loved it!
Look at Link’s big smile as he gently drops.
This spider web climbing rope was Link’s favorite. It was so amazing watching this little guy climb all the way to the top.
There were a lot of different walls to climb. Link tried most of them.
This was Locke’s favorite. There was a punching bag to jump to from the pedestal, but Locke preferred to just let go from the side and fly across the room.
This castle wall one was really hard, but Locke looks like a professional climber.
The first time Locke tried the skyscrapers, he would crawl from one to another and only got half way up. But after he realized he couldn’t fall, he got really brave and went to the top and jumped.
This one was really hard too because the gears would turn when you stepped on them.
As we left, both boys said they wanted to do that activity again. They loved it!! Climbing is very physically taxing, but they both just kept doing it as long as they could.
