Stansbury Days: 2019
Nate had a booth again for Stansbury Days so I went to help with the kids. We missed the parade, but the kids got to do the free games and rides. Locke played several games of miniature golf and then went for a ride in this barrel train. Link really wanted to ride the train, but for some reason he got scared. They both had lots of fun on the inflatables, jumping and sliding. They both especially liked the ball throwing inflatables because they got inside of them and played around. I don’t think they were supposed to do that, but I was busy watching Remi. There was also a nerf gun course set up in the tennis courts we would have tried but didn’t have a chance.
We got slushies, watched the cardboard boat races, and got to see a Power Ranger and a Mermaid. Locke and Link were being shy though. Probably because Locke saw the guy getting ready, so he knew it wasn’t a real Power Ranger, and Link does whatever Locke does. But they were amazing costumes!.
Lake and cardboard boat play time.
My favorite cardboard boat was this alligator. A couple rode on top of it with their legs in the water and paddled. It looked like they were riding an alligator.
After checking out all the kids activities and feeding the ducks popcorn, we went to check out the booths and the car show. There were a lot of cool cars I would have liked to look at, but the kids wanted to go to the playground. Lastly we got some barbecue sandwiches for lunch from the food trucks. It was a great, little town fair!!
