Sea Quest Aquarium

We took the kids on an overnight trip in the motorhome. We used our GetOutPasses to go to this aquarium. It was all hands on. We got to walk into the cages and touch and feed the animals.

This turtle below was allowed to wander around the aquarium. He especially liked this room and he walked around and around it. Link fed him some lettuce and they touched his shell.

After seeing the other big turtle, Link wanted to climb on this one and get a picture.

They also had some small turtles to feed. This turtle was very actively swimming around.

These birds are called silkies. We got to pet them and feed them. They were so soft and fluffy. There were machines next to each animal station that were filled with containers filled with food for that particular animal. (See the picture below) Each cost a token. The tokens were expensive though. I only got a few, but the kids loved it.

After the aquarium we played in the mall a bit: in the kids play area and the arcade.

We stayed the night at the Lagoon campground. It was right next to Lagoon and a stream, so we went for a walk to check things out.

The path around the RV park went right next to the Lagoon animal cages so it was like being at the Zoo. We saw camels, deer, etc. (My back was hurting so we had the walker with us which the kids rode like a stroller.)

Next we went and watched the big rollercoasters.

This rollercoaster went straight down and we watched it for a long time. I said it looked scary and the boys said it didn’t and that they wanted to ride it.

This old rollercoaster had a tunnel under it that we walked through.

Lastly we watched the gas powered go carts race. The boys were so excited to go into Lagoon. They couldn’t wait until the next day. They slept up on the top bunk with me and were so wound up and excited that they had a hard time sleeping.
